Week 45 of 2026

08 Nov 2026

Finished my third week at the new job. Everything going well so far, but I don’t have much time to listen to music properly now.

Listened to

Albums/EPs:

Favorite of the week: Légamo - Círculo de fuego. First time listening to this Chilean Jazz Fusion band. Another great Chilean release. My only complaint is the length, only 30 minutes
Corretta - A New Age of Decay (Also on Bandcamp). A Spotify recommendation. Nice Prog Metal
Estoy Bien - A La Distancia. Good stuff but their previous album is even better (maybe the best Chilean Emo album?)
RESCENE - Pulse. Solid EP with a nice RnB sound. They played it a little bit too safe, hopefully they’ll take more risks in the next release

Recently released singles:

Favorite of the week: Panchiko - One Car Hits Another (feat. Mei Semones). Unexpected collab
Baby DONT Cry - Replay. The song is indeed replayable
cosmosy - Give Me Love. This goes hard
Genevieve Artadi - Ode to Spaghetti. An ode to a dog
HEART OF WOMAN - Melt. DnB vibes
My New Band Believe - Opposite Teacher. Breaking once again my rule of not mentioning singles from albums already mentioned. They released a music video produced in Chile!
Raised by Owls - My Optician Called Me A Poser Because I Couldn’t Read The Sanguisugabogg Logo. For this one, you need to watch the music video for the full experience
Slayyyter - hey boyyy. She continues slaying
SPOKANKI - Tis Trihas to Gefyri. I don’t know how this type of music is called but it’s pretty cool
Yaeji - ddr. Dance Dance Revolution, not Deutsche Demokratische Republik

Other:

Asia Menor - Vi al diablo + Flores del naranjo + La Naturaleza (En Rojas Magallanes)
“Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)” Under a Bridge. This random cover made me feel really nostalgic. Maybe it’s the video quality or the crowd energy. It looks like it was recorded at the time the song was released
NewJeans - OMG | RE:GROOVE Live Session. Nice cover
