Spent a lot of hours this week building a Steam Machine++ with a RX 9070 XT inside a Fractal Design Ridge. The build runs SteamOS 3.8 for a console-like experience when gaming. Still tweaking settings to improve noise and thermal performance even more, which can’t be further from a console-like experience 😆. I used an LLM to help me tweak configuration, if any component ends up fried that’s on me 😅.

So far I’ve been through 21 recruiter screenings, the preliminary results are:

  • 12 moved to the interview loop
  • 5 rejections
  • 1 withdrawn because the company is too early stage
  • 3 withdrawn because they don’t offer visa sponsorship for Spain

Haven’t dedicated much time lately to Japanese. I’m only doing reviews in WaniKani.
