Week 21 of 2026
Weekly reminder that I’m looking for a job in Spain.
This week was packed with recruiter screenings and a couple of tech interviews.
Just like last week, got another recruiter screening that lasted less than 5 minutes because they only offered visa sponsorship for the UK and not Spain 😭.

- The Last Dinner Party - Prelude to Ecstasy. One of my favorite albums of 2024
- The Messthetics and James Brandon Lewis - Deface The Currency. A 2026 favorite
- My New Band Believe - My New Band Believe. Another 2026 favorite
- Swans - Birthing. I can’t believe the Saturn from Alexanderplatz had this triple (!) LP + DVD on sale for 29 EUR
“Graduating” many of the albums I’ve been listening to the last few weeks to give space to new ones. Maybe in some point of the year I’ll explore classics instead of catching up with new music.
I’ve been listening to a lot of Electronic Pop albums, will add more Metal to the mix again.

- Favorite of the week: My New Band Believe - My New Band Believe (Also on Bandcamp). One of my favorites of the year. I want to try whatever people are drinking at the Windmill Pub, maybe my music will dramatically improve.
- Coffret de Bijoux - Lose Myself In You (Also on Bandcamp). Two 15 minutes Blackgaze bangers. I have to admit the synth sections could have been better, but still a great album
- jody积融 - Is It Gonna Happen Again？ (Also on Bandcamp). Great Electronic Pop recommendation from Spotify
- Juicelover - .mp3. Not so well-known Korean artist with great songs
- NECTA - GIRLHOOD. Full of Electronic Pop bangers
- The Messthetics and James Brandon Lewis - Deface The Currency (Also on Bandcamp). Jazz with a lot of Rock, will make to my favorites of the year.
- underscores - U (Also on Bandcamp). I was expecting something noisier, so the album initially didn’t do it for me. It got better every time I re-listened to it!
- YUNA - Ice Cream. Four solid Pop songs without filler. Why sing many songs when few do trick.
