Weekly reminder that I’m looking for a job in Spain.
Many recruiter screenings this week. Finally got more used to it.
One of the recruiter screenings was funny. It turns out they only offered visa sponsorship for the UK office, not for Spain. We wrapped it in less than 5 minutes 😅.
Finally starting level 8 in WaniKani. The last 2 months I’ve done mostly reviews instead of learning new words, so it took quite a while.
Listened to a bunch of good music this week. So many great releases this year, it’s hard to keep up!

- Favorite of the week: NMIXX - Heavy Serenade. Favorite K-Pop release so far this year. I like when Pop groups take risks in things like harmonies and sound design. The only thing missing was a song that goes hard, like Phoenix from last year’s album, Superior from this release was almost there
- Billlie - The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Chapter Two. Another great K-Pop release for this year
- Darkthrone - Pre-Historic Metal (Also on Bandcamp). Sounds exactly how a Darkthrone album named Pre-Historic Metal should sound
- Fire-Toolz - Lavender Networks (Also on Bandcamp). Electronic Music with Metal elements, so good!
- Richard Dawson & Circle - Henki (Also on Bandcamp). Proggy Psychedelic Rock recommendation from a friend. Released in 2021 but with many elements from the 70s
- Slayyyter - Wor$t Girl in America. Great Electronic Pop, she actually slays
- teodioteodio - Echaremos el cielo abajo a patadas (Also on Bandcamp). Finally a full release from this Chilean band! Showing more range than in their debut single
- TURQUOISEDEATH - FURTHERWORLD (Also on Bandcamp). Modern Ambient D&B, anime cover art and YouTube recommendations, name a more iconic trio

- Anthrax - It’s For the Kids. The songs from their classic period are better, but still welcomed
